PSI HACKS
10-11 October 2020
Bored in your Zoom Class? Feeling Creative?
Join us for this 24-hour Hackathon where you can indulge in enlightening workshops, connect with different students and mentors, as well as have a chance at winning prizes. We invite you to harness your coding skills to innovate new applications to solve the distance learning problem.

OUR STORY
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, drastic changes were implemented around the world in order to contain the virus. Having to immediately adjust from in-person schooling to online classes during a worldwide pandemic was cumbersome for both teachers and students. We, as high school students, directly experienced the consequences that emerged from this distance-learning approach. Flaws in the online learning system significantly hindered our learning experience, compelling us to sacrifice our own time to rummage through online resources that would effectively expound complex topics.

OUR VISION
We aim to deliver a hackathon experience that would inspire students around the globe to reflect upon the obstacles associated with distance learning and develop applicable solutions in the real world to tackle educational barriers. By prioritizing outstanding mentorship to participants, we intend to equip each competitor with the necessary resources, enabling them to compete at their highest potential.
